Diplomats in New Delhi say Iran’s President Hassan Rouhani will try to encourage Indian businesses to invest “billions of dollars” in the Islamic Republic during his three-day visit which will start on Thursday.

دیپلمات‌ها در دهلی نو می‌گویند رئیس جمهور ایران حسن روحانی طی سفر سه روزه‌اش که از پنجشنبه آغاز خواهد شد، تلاش خواهد کرد تا کسب و کارهای هند را به سرمایه گذاری میلیاردها دلار در جمهوری اسلامی تشویق کند.

Top on the agenda of Rouhani’s visit would be the completion of Iran’s Chabahar port by India as well as discussions over a potential deal for Indian companies to develop an offshore gas field in Iran.

تکمیل بندر چابهار ایران توسط هندوستان و همچنین بحث در مورد یک قرارداد بالقوه برای شرکت‌های هندی جهت توسعه میدان گازی دریایی در راس دستور کار سفر روحانی خواهد بود.

“There are a number of projects for expansion of ties in the pipeline that not only will be in the interests of both nations but also in the interest of the region,” Iran’s ambassador to India, Gholamreza Ansari, was quoted as saying by Reuters in a recent speech.

به نقل از رویترز غلامرضا انصاری سفیر ایران در هند در سخنرانی اخیر خود گفته است که تعدادی از پروژه‌ها برای گسترش روابط حول این خط لوله وجود دارد که نه تنها به نفع هر دور کشور بلکه در جهت منافع منطقه است.

Rouhani will arrive in the southern city of Hyderabad on Thursday, where he will address a Muslim congregation. He will meet Prime Minister Modi on Saturday when both are expected to sign an agreement allowing India to run operations in the first phase of the Chabahar port project.

روحانی قرار است روز پنج شنبه از شهر جنوبی حیدرآباد دیدن کند. جاییکه که وی با جماعت مسلمان سخن خواهد گفت. او نخست ویر مودی را در روز شنبه ملاقات خواهد کرد و انتظار می‌رود هر دو توافقنامه‌ای را امضا کنند که به هند اجازه می‌دهد عملیات خود را در فاز اول پروژه بندر چابهار اجرایی کند.

Iran is India’s third oil supplier. The country imported 12.5 million tonnes of crude from the Islamic Republic in the period running from April 2017 to October 2018.

ایران سومین تامین کننده نفت هند است. این کشور در دوره‌ای از آوریل ۲۰۱۷ تا اکتبر ۲۰۱۸، معادل ۱۲.۵ میلیون تن نفت خام از جمهوری اسلامی وارد کرده است.

India, Iran and Afghanistan have already signed an agreement to give Indian good, heading toward Central Asia and Afghanistan, preferential treatment and tariff reductions at the Chabahar port city in southern Iran.

During the meeting, Zarif reassured the Iraqi prime minister that Iran would spare no efforts to contribute to Iraq’s reconstruction as the Islamic Republic stood by the Iraqi nation and government in the war against terrorists.

در این دیدار ظریف به نخست وزیر عراق اطمینان داد که ایران از هیچ تلاشی برای کمک به بازسازی عراق فروگذار نخواهد کرد، همچنانکه جمهوری اسلامی در کنار ملت و دولت عراق در جنگ علیه تروریست‌ها ایستاد.

Iran sees Iraq as an important political and economic partner, he added.

وی افزود ایران، عراق را به عنوان یک شریک اقتصادی و سیاسی مهم می‌داند.

India is trying to develop the port of Chabahar on Iran’s east coast as a way to gain access the markets of central Asia as well as Afghanistan by by-passing arch-rival Pakistan. The port is about 72 km from the Pakistani port of Gwadar, which China is developing, Reuters wrote in a report on Rouhani’s visit.

هند در حال تلاش برای توسعه بندر چابهار در ساحل شرقی ایران به عنوان راهی برای دستیابی به بازارهای آسیای مرکزی و افغانستان با گذر از رقیب اصلی‌اش پاکستان است. این بندر در فاصله حدود ۷۲ کیلومتری از بندر گوادار پاکستان قرار گرفته که چین در حال توسعه آن است.

India’s Prime Minister Narendra Modi earlier said his government could spend up to $500 million on the port, India’s first major overseas port venture, as it tries to offer alternatives to China’s One Belt One Road initiative to build trade and transport links across Asia.

نارندا مودی نخست وزیر هند پیشتر گفت که دولتش می‌تواند تا سقف ۵۰۰ میلیون دلار در این بندر هزینه کند. اولین قرارداد بزرگ بندری هند در خارج از کشور به منظور تلاش برای ارائه جایگزینی در برابر ابتکار “یک کمربند یک جاده” چین، با هدف ایجاد ارتباطات تجاری و حمل و نقل در سراسر آسیاست.

The plan is for India to equip and operate two berths in the port with a capital investment of $85.21  million on a 10-yaer lease, Reuters reported.

به گزارش رویترز: طرح هندوستان این است که برای تجهیز و راه اندازی دو اسکله در این بندر با سرمایه‌گذاری هنگفت مالی ۸۵.۲۱ میلیون دلاری در یک قرارداد اجاره‌ای ۱۰ ساله اقدام کند.

Another key project that could be on top of Rouhani’s discussions with Indian officials during his stay would be the development of Iran’s Farzad B gas field by Indian companies.

از جمله پروژه‌های کلیدی دیگری که می‌تواند در راس گفتگوهای روحانی با مقامات هند در طی اقامتش باشد توسعه میدان گازی فرزاد B توسط شرکت‌ها هندی است.

Iran develops missile program as part of defensive doctrine: Leader’s adviser

مشاور رهبر: ایران برنامه موشکی را به عنوان بخشی از دکترین دفاعی خود توسعه می‌دهد.

A senior adviser to Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei says Iran’s development of missiles does not concern any countries as it is totally a matter of domestic policy.

مشاور ارشد رهبر جمهوری اسلامی آیت الله خامنه‌ای می‌گوید، توسعه موشکی ایران به هیچ کشوری مربوط نیست زیرا از موضوع کاملا مرتبط با سیاست داخلی است.

Iran, like any other country, acts according to its conditions, and the manufacturing and development of missile do not concern foreigners, Ali Akbar Velayati told reporters on Wednesday, after a meeting with European Parliament’s Foreign Affair Committee Chairman David McAllister in in Tehran.

علی اکبر ولایتی روز چهارشنبه پس از دیدار با رئیس جمهور کمیته‌ امور خارجه پارلمان اروپا، دیوید مک آلیستر در تهران به خبرنگاران گفت: ایران، مانند هر کشور دیگری، بر اساس شرایطش عمل می‌کند و ساخت و توسعه موشکی به بیگانگان مربوط نیست.

“To defend our country, we take measures to develop missiles in line with our national interests, and this is no business of foreigners and we do not allow others to interfere [in this issue],” he said.

وی اظهار کرد: برای دفاع از کشورمان، ما اقداماتی برای توسعه موشکی با توجه به منافع ملی مان انجام می‌دهیم و این به بیگانگان مربوط نیست و ما به دیگران اجازه دخالت در مسئله را نمی‌دهیم.

Iranian officials have repeatedly warned that the country’s missile program is not open to any negotiations amid efforts by the US specifically to link the Islamic Republic’s missile program to the Iran nuclear deal that was reached between Tehran and the P5+1 group of countries in July 2015.

درمیان تلاش‌های ایالات متحده به ویژه برای پیوند دادن برنامه موشکی با توافقنامه هسته‌ای ایران که میان تهران و کشورهای گروه ۵+۱ در جولای ۲۰۱۵ بسته شد، مقامات ایرانی بارها هشدار داده‌اند که برنامه موشکی این کشور قابل مذاکره نیست.

Washington has insisted that Iran’s missile program be put under international surveillance. Tehran says it will not negotiate over the issue under any circumstances.

واشنگتن اصرار دارد که برنامه موشکی ایران تحت نظارت بین‌المللی قرار گیرد. تهران می‌گوید تحت هیچ شرایطی بر روی این مسئله مذاکره نخواهد کرد.

During his meeting with the EU official, Velayati also talked about Iran’s policies in the Middle East and North Africa, saying the Islamic Republic sought cooperation with all regional countries to help establish stability, security and peace, and stressed that Tehran was opposed to any foreign meddling in the region.

ولایتی در ملاقاتش با این مقام اتحادیه اروپا، همچنین در مورد سیاست‌های ایران در خاورمیانه و شمال آفریقا صحبت کرد و گفت: جمهوری اسلامی به دنبال همکاری با همه کشورهای منطقه برای کمک به ایجاد ثبات، امنیت و صلح بوده و تاکید کرد که تهران با هر دخالت خارجی در منطقه مخالف است.

He also highlighted Iran’s contribution to the anti-terrorism battle, saying if it were not for Iran’s support, Daesh would spread its militancy to many parts of the world.

او همچنین مشارکت ایران در مباره ضد تروریسم را خاطر نشان کرد و گفت: اگر این برای حمایت ایران نبود، داعش ستیزه‌جویی خود را به بسیاری از نقاط جهان گسترش می‌داد.

Velayati also called on European countries to adopt “more independent policies” vis-a-vis the Middle East region.

ولایتی همچنین از کشورهای اروپایی خواست تا سیاست‌های مستقل‌تری را در رابطه با منطقه خاورمیانه اتخاذ کنند.

For his part, McAllister praised Iran’s active and cooperative foreign relations.

در این میان، مک آلستر روابط خارجی فعال و همکاری ایران را تحسین کرد.

He also called for further cooperation between the Iranian and the European Parliament, saying the Iranian parliament could play an instrumental role improving Iran-Europe relations.

او همچنین خواستار همکاری بیشتر میان ایران و پارلمان اروپا شد و گفت: پارلمان ایران می‌تواند نقش مفیدی در بهبود روابط ایران و اروپا ایفا کند.
